Multiple regions release latest data on top infectious diseases

Multiple regions across China including Shanghai, Beijing and Zhejiang Province have released the latest monitoring data on infectious diseases.

Shanghai

A total of 19,150 cases of 19 infectious diseases were reported in October.

Class A infectious diseases: 0 (1cholera in Sep, 0 in Aug)

Class B infectious diseases: 4,822 (9,092 in Sep, 19,838 in Aug)

The top five reported diseases are, in order, Covid-19,syphilis,phthisis,gonorrhoea and viral hepatitis, accounting for 96.62% of all reported cases of class B infectious diseases

Class C infectious diseases: 14,328 (13,990 in Sep, 12,815 in Aug)

The top three reported diseases are, in order, influenza, hand-foot-and-mouth disease and other infectious diarrhea, accounting for 96.62% of all reported cases of class B infectious diseases

Beijing

A total of 72,475 cases of 16 infectious diseases were reported in the Week 47 (from Nov 20 to 26)

The top five reported diseases are

1.Influenza

2.Covid-19

3.Hand-foot-and-mouth disease

4.Other infectious diarrhea

5.Syphilis

accounting for 99.4% of all reported cases of infectious diseases.
